I used to use Firefox, but I've switched to Chrome. I think both are good, but chromes interface seems a little better to me.

This is a very interesting read as we debate over this all the time at work. I love Firefox probably because I'm more use to it and the ad ons are all set up. But my work colleges all tell me i should cross over as some of the ad ons work better in Chrome and the browser apparently works faster.

Speed is dependent on the specific task at hand, the user's platform, and other tasks running concurrently.
No browser is the fastest for all tasks under all conditions.

No Doubt Firefox is better than Chrome ....firefox is user friendly browser but chrome has some great benefits. chrome is fast rather than firefox ...you will find your all chrome add-ons in chrome store where almost everything is given. I like google Chrome.

Firefox over chrome for me mainly for addon's, but too many addon's really can slow things down.

If you are not already doing so, you might try disabling those that are not constantly needed, and re-enable them only as necessary.

Google Chrome and Firefox are both great browsers and you can't go wrong with either one, however from my personal experience I prefer to use Google Chrome because of its speed and the sleekness of it. The one great thing about Firefox though is that it seems to have more add-ons than Chrome.

To repeat, speed is dependent on: - the specific task at hand;
- the user's platform; and,
- other tasks running concurrently.
No browser is the fastest for all tasks under all conditions.

Personally, I don't like Chrome, even though it has a neater design and is presumably faster. On Firefox I have no problem installing and using the extensions that I need, but on Chrome I still have some problems. For example, I couldn't find a mouse gestures extension that works properly. They work fine immediately after installation, but the second time I open Chrome, it's like I never installed them at all. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Simply Firefox, noscript/adblock/flashblock/etc.
Chrome just doesn't cut it.

From a user's point of view I don't see any difference now. At first Chrome was better as the interface was simplifies and every tab used its own process, but now FF has the same features.
Maybe the difference is only in the addons.
