In Thailand, the minimum plan is 6 mbps at about 20 usd per month. The highest speed available is 20 mbps at about 100usd per month.

In Malaysia, the minimum plan is 512 kbps at about 20 usd per month. The highest speed available is 4 mbps at about 50 usd per month.

I pay US$45/month. I get unlimited upload and download, 15mbps download, unlimited wifi access to the network in an area that's as large as I'm ever in (about 100 miles by the width of the islands) and - the main reason I stay with my provider, even though I could get cheaper service - excellent tech support from local people. They're not clerks reading from scripts, they're tech people who know how the network works, and they've fixed problems that have fooled me.

And when power and telephone lines go out in a hurricane, I still have internet connectivity.

I pay 20$ per month, 3Mbps. Sometimes if i feel short of budget, I used to subscribe in a VPN which actually costs my less, more than half really.

Here in Hong Kong, it's about US$25 for 10Mbits unlimited access.
Plus we have a lot of free wifi just about everywhere.
