Going Wireless

Hello guys,

I've been thinking to buy a wireless keyboard and mouse for my Mac. I thought of getting some opinions first before I purchase the items.

Would you prefer to have wired or wireless? what are the pros and cons???

thanks.

I have both types of mice., but the wireless mouse was a gift. It works ok but I have never perceived the benefit of going wireless with these peripherals.

I have rather sad experience of using wireless mouse and keyboard. It was broken may be in a month and I decided not have a deal with it. But it was first model of Logitech and hope that modern ones are really effective and workable.

Thank you for all of your inputs and your experiences with this topic.

What concerns me is that wireless technology uses battery and infrared or bluetooth for it to work. Those components makes the technology open for inconveniences such as lost of signal, changing battery more often, etc...

I think I have made my decision to purchase wired apple accessories now.
You've all been a great help to my decision making.
Thanks a lot guys.

I prefer wired mouse and keyboard. I use mouse quite a lot at my workplace. It is unworthy to keep changing the battery of my mouse. Wired mouse is not convenient but I have troubleless on battery changing. I have wired keyboard connects to my laptop.

It would up to your convenient whether to get a wired or wireless mouse or keyboard

Wired is the best for me, you don't have to keep swapping out batteries

its depends on the brand you choose.. wireless input device is much more comfortable than wired input devices. do i need to specify the benefits? i think you know the answer,

my advice is search for the model and brand you choose and read some reviews about the product. consider the stability and durability of the product you choose,,

I think that wireless devices like a mouse or a keyboard, are a good investment.

i was using the wireless mouse for my laptop for more that three years , it is best when operated near the access point and its bad when you operate from distance .
for keyboard as well the problem is the distance , it is good if operated near the laptop or desktop.
you must have a rechargeable batteries and the best recharger
