I use Norton which has worked very well - used the Comcast McAfee and got a virus 1 hour later which trashed my computer and had to do a low level format to remove the thing.

I honestly prefer Avast over all other virus protection software. Seems to me like Avast stops stuff that others can't

McAfee is the best best solution for the antivirus. Once you install this feel free from all hazards of virus attack.

I have only had decent protection from NOD, I have tried kasperkey but I'm not sure if I wan't smart enough to configure it correctly but I ended up with a corrupted HDD and a slow booting OS to boot...

Trend Micro is the best for me. I have been using for a couple of years and I have no complaints about it. It protects my laptop from "unwanted" things and it doesn't slow down its performance. You should give it a try. Plus I hear Trend Micro coupons is offering 10% off on their Antivirus plus AntiSpyware 2010 so you should check that out too.

I used Avast Free for more than 1.5 years and it catched all viruses so far, its the best for me, so i've got Avast Professional Server Edition.

If you have Avast Free its also the best, you can buy professional edition if you have money otherwise not a problem.

I also vote for AVG... It's more accurate than Avira.. As long as you updated your free AVG antivirus, it will really helps you protect your computer in any malicious virus. And AVG Free edition 9.0 is now available....
