A lot of threads about FF vs IE.

I've been using FireFox for a while now and didn't care to use IE anymore. I don't know, I'm just more comfortable using FF...

I use ie7 also, is quicker then firefox and never had any troubles with ie before. ff try to palm themselves of as a so called 'non profit' organisation yet they make tens of millions a year from the google search in the ff browser.

Often time 'Non-Profit' organizations are some of the biggest monemakers. Take for example The United Way...pfft, non-profit my ass. Their SEO's make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year...why not. Non-Profit is a tax term, nothing else.

Very true, just like non profit charities. But alot of people hate microsoft because of there success and wealth and thats why when ff say there non profit alot of people have moved to them. Ive seen many times people use the ff is non profit line when saying the benefits.

I dont think its wrong that they make money everyone should but around forums always in the tons of ie v ff discussions people always say microsoft are so greedy but ff dont make no money when they do.

I love FF i tried the New IE7 but it only use Clear type font and it sux.

FF is great only thing I find wrong with FF is POPs are starting to creep through

Perhaps peoples opinions will change with IE7

I have not seen or tried the Beta. Not interested until its all done but I do know they have completely copied Firefox which is not surprising

Yes ofcourse.But me sometimes.
Sometimes FF has some bugs that's why I have to switch to IE once in a while.
I'm using Windows XP SP2 BTW.

It depends on the kind of computer you are using as well. I am a mac user and internet explorer is terrible on the mac, firefox is beter.

Two Mac only browsers I would reccomend -

Camino - like a faster, stripped down firefox

Shiira - better than Safari

This is a joke, right? Firefox is faster, has better security, better look (duh), and more! Plus, if you download NoScript with Firefox, it is impossible to get a virus from the internet, unless you tell it you want to download something (which would be your fault).

Plus, every single time you open up Internet Explorer, it sends a log if your previous activity to Microsoft

. Why do they do this? I don't know, but I got nothing to hide.

BUT, Internet Explorer is better when you use autosurf programs. For some reason, FireFox likes to crash after about an hour or two of autosurfing, when Internet Explorer won't. So I like to use Firefox when I browse, and Internet Explorer, if I ever feel like using an autosurf.

EDIT:
I forgot to mention how much better FireFox is for browsing. FireFox is very "strict" on the code it views. A lot of pages look so much better in Firefox, because of this. Of course, some look btter in IE, since IE allows you to slack off in your coding, and still have a working website. IE finds substitutes for incorrect codes, while FF will not. Of course, some cool Javascript coding will not work in FireFox (which really sucks), but that plays into it not being "real" code.
