USB Memory
Unbelieveable!!!
64GB on such a small USB key!
That's Gigabytes, not Megabytes.

You mean we'd have to eat a happy meal to get one? I'm not sure that's a fair deal!

Nice one.
Actually, with solid state memory at that level (64GB), it's not hard to imagine that some motherboards very soon will have an "onboard" hard drive that has no moving parts, just like USB memory, but much faster because it's integrated into the board (or a plug in chip like RAM is now). With this, boot times will be reduced to less than 5 seconds after BIOS POST. And, the general speed of the operating system will be much faster too, with all the read/writes happening on solid chips instead of moving platters.
I can't wait!

Yep it will be crazy fast.
I can tell the difference night/day loading applications and windows startup on my WD Raptor 74gb so I could imagine HOW MUCH fastere this would be awesome!

Yeah. I can't wait.
I saw this.
And this.
The technology seems to still be in it's infancy, but way cooler times are ahead!

They need to do this NOW!!
I've had laptops (recently) with smaller hard drives than that.
No reason I can see (besides corporate greed) why this isn't already implemented.
Theyre just gonna sell a few thousand of these at that price then turn around in a year and make whole PCs based off this technology and sell it for double the price.
Logical eh?

"The Kanguru Flash Max sports a rugged aluminum exterior housing that provides durability and ultimately extends the life of the drive"
HAHA your joking, you can blow a flash drive up with a grenade and it still works, what is a aluminum exterior housing going to do that a peice of plastic isn't?

just remembered, there is a laptop that has dropped alot of the moving parts, and the performance is more than those USB's i'm guesssing the usb's are the starting end of the technology used in this laptop.
