I was an old XP fun. But I fall in love with Windows 7. So that my pick!

I don't know if Windows 8, will conquer me... but for now I am a bit afraid of them. I have read that react faster than any other windows os, but I have the feeling that I should see them fisrt in action, before I decide them to install.

Android is the coolest OS I have ever used! It's simple, functional and really user friendly...

Generally, Windows 7. For the future, Windows 8.

For Linux based, Ubuntu.

I am currently running windows XP 64 and 32 bit. I will probably upgrade to Windows 7 soon, its about time that i did. some software and hardware are starting to lose support for XP.
I don't think windows 8 is that much better for PC users than Windows 7, but i can see it being useful and more geared for Tablet's.
I think overall the best solution for anyone that is interested in technology is to install or use multiple OS. I probably will do something like that.

I think Windows is the most versatile.

I'm using windows xp and I love it. I used to have a computer with windows 7. But would loose the net connection about every 2 hours and then I would have to do a restart.

So I bought another computer that had windows xp on it. And has worked flawlessly for 4 years now.

So until this emachines desktop pc with windows xp craps out. I will be using windows xp.

The below is my order-wise preference
1. It is absolutely Windows 7
2. Mac OSX for its Linux based OS and clarity of display
3. Red Hat Linux for web development environment

Windows 7 has treated me the best so far. Hopefully Windows 8 won't disappoint!

Windows xp still remains the best. I am a software and web developer using vb.net,asp.net,php/mysql. Whenever I implement my software or web on client computer with window xp, I don't normally have challenge but if the system is on windows 7, I have to go extra mile before the implementation can be successful. What I can just see to windows 7 is that it allows more concurrent users than xp and its security level is more than xp. Aside these two, I have not seen anything special about it.

I choice between Ubuntu and Windows 7... I think I'll have to go for 7, as it supports a lot more programs than Ubuntu does. But Ubuntu is getting better!

I really love my Windows 7. Mac has been okay sometimes, but I don't think I'll ever convert to anything else.

Definitely Windows, it fits my needs well. I do love Linux, but I can't use it for everyday use. I have only touched a Mac once, and that was for 5 minutes, if that.
