I don't know if it's just me but my Google Chrome is displaying text link ads. Any info about this?

I have no ads on my browser... I am on Chrome, Version 21.0.1180.57.
Try to uninstall your plugins and tell us if it works or not.

You may have some ad-ware. i don't have this issue. Have you run a full anti-Malware and anti-Virus scan? Here are some freebies that are of good quality...
Anti-Virus
1. Avast!
2. Microsoft Security Essentials
3. AVG
Anti-Malware
1. MalwareBytes
2. SpyBot Search & Destroy
in addition to what atyq said, you could try first disabling all your extensions for chrome, if that fixes it, then you can enable them 1 by 1 until you get the problems again, this will help you identify the extension giving you problems. You also could reinstall Chrome and install the free adblock extension by Michael.
Hope that helps!

I have found a tutorial on the web, it could fix your problem:
Quote:
1. Download and install Privoxy.
2. Click on the Wrench icon in Chrome in the upper right corner.
3. Choose options>Under The Hood>Change proxy settings.
4. In the Internet Properties dialog's Connections tab, click on the LAN settings button.
5. Check off "Proxy settings" and in the address setting add 127.0.0.1 and in the port 8118.
6. If you have the option, you can also check off "Bypass proxy for local settings".
Click "OK," close Chrome and restart it.

Sine the thread creator got a fix for this issue in this thread already, I'm going to lock the thread now.
(Have a feeling people won't read all replies to find the answer anways)
