A Concise History of Web Browsers (Infographic)

Got a pretty cool infographic here about the most popular web browsers including Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. The infographic has sections on market share of users, cold start up time, browser invention dates and more.

Interesting that it's an advertisement for a browser I haven't heard of before. It seems they may be trying to make up for their loss to Google chrome lately, as shown in the graphic. Either way, having something aimed at 64 bit only should be an improvement I think.

As a 64 bit computer user, I'm always struggling with the outdated browsers that are available including the standard Firefox version. Having a browser devoted exclusively to 64bit users, such as Waterfox (shown in infographic) would be a real benefit for me. I might try that out.

I cant believe the start up time for IE is 1.4 seconds. You are not going to tell me that IE is faster than all the other browsers.

This is fantastic, I am more interested in the future with the advancement of Mobile Apps and Browser.
I guess the mobile behavior will be very different and the reasons for this graphic.

I only like chrome, I think Firefox is overloaded with features and runs too slow for me
