Quit firefox... go into your applications folder, right click on firefox, or control click, then oepn the get info pannel, and tick rosseta (or how ever u spell it) open up firefox and it should work, although it is a tad slower to open.

If you are using FF which is OS independent you should be able to find an "in browser media player" which supports the WMV format.
