When someone say Gaming Laptop then only one name comes to my mind and that is ALIENWARE. As you said budget is not a concern, so I suggest you to go for an Alienware 17.

Go for MSI GT62VR Dominator Pro-005
Among the first gaming laptops with Nvidia's Pascal graphics technology, the MSI GT62VR Dominator Pro-005 offers superb performance, along with a ton of storage, and extras like USB-C and a customizable keyboard.

Bro, Seriously I don't know much about Alienware 17 gaming laptop.
One of my friends bought MSI GT62VR Dominator Pro-005 gaming laptop after my recommendation. He is now very happy about that laptop. That's why I suggest that laptop to you as well.

Hi there! A laptop is not actually designed for gaming. But if you still want to make use of this device to play games, then I suggest you go for the latest models (since you mentioned that budget is not an issue).

I would suggest the Acer Predator 17 X since this device is specifically designed for gaming and it has this cool feature which allow you to play VR games immediately... The specs are also great, the only downside is the price: $2,800...

If you're new to gaming don't dive headlong into a powerful, expensive machine, whether acer, Asus or alienware. Think about which games you want to play & whether they really need that kind of processing power. It may turn out that your day to day laptop may be able to handle the load!

If it was me I would probably buy the new Razer Blade. Or one of the thin 15" gaming laptops from Aorus, MSI or ASUS.

Well, if budget is not an issue, then check out Techradar's list of the best gaming laptops. I still cannot post a URL due to my low post count so try to search it in Google.

What Ever You DO!!!

In my opinion: " Do Not Buy AlienWare"
These computers have taken a downhill spiral since Dell purchased them some many years back. The name is still riding on what the original owners did to it and Dell has slowly but surely taken it down, down, down to that of a ****ty computer name like Dell.

If you want more bang for you buck and would like more control over the computer/desktop replacement, I would go with a smaller company. A small company like Origin still stays true to the quality hardware and software that alienware used to.

I've had my Origin for over 6 years and it still stomps on any apple/mac and most Alienware computers released now.

I have over 32 gigs or ram and a bad ass video card tho.
