This is true. And you also mentioned about AV's contributing to slow PC issue, this is also true since I found out that most of my callers were not fully aware that a computer won't function well if there's 2 or more antivirus softwares being installed. I guess they kinda cling into the idea that the more AV's installed, the better the protection which is not actually the case since they will just "conflict" with each other...
