Hard Drive Making weird sound.

My Computer Hard Drive Making weird sound. I had already experienced bad sectors sound before. But its something like car accelerator.

I am afraid, its bad sector, but doesn't seems to be, there is about 20+ GB data saved and it overall capacity 300GB.

How to i know my data is safe?

First thing, Backup all the data to another drive asap. Don't wait, backup now!

Then use the manufacturer tools to test the drive and take action from there.

Best thing to do is backup and buy another drive.

If the Hard Drive is making a constant clicking sound then that means the Hard Drive is bad and about to fail completely. I know this from experience at my job.

Looks like you need a new HDD. Take your computer to a computer store, they may be able to pull the data off it into a new HDD but I won't make any promises.
