What's your opinion about Bing?

What do you guys think about the search engine Bing? Everyone knows that Google is the most popular search engine at the moment, but Bing seems to be having a decent share on the search engines scene.

Do you use Bing? If so, how often, as compared to Google?

I tried using it for a while, but it didn't really work out. The search results weren't quite relevant. But I really wanted to not use Google so I tried using DuckDuckGo & surprisingly even that worked out better than Bing! That's how bad Bing has been for me. Now I use DuckDuckGo most of the time & switch to Google when I'm not happy with the search results.

It may have a decent search share, but I believe it's Google whose search results are focused on user experience.

I own a blog and I often see how my website ranks on Bing for the same keywords as Google, which places my website almost nowhere. Since then, I see Google as my friend and hence write posts according to how Google may see the pages. I don't bother about what Bing shows in for my targeted keywords.

This topic from Quora may be helpful for the point of discussion:

Do Microsoft employees use Google at the office?

In my opinion, ping is a good search engine. I used to advertise my product here and get high conversion rates. If you have a good idea then ping is a fertile ground for business.

Bing still stinks. It used to be MSN search and changing names didn't make it popular like Google is.

There's one good thing about bing though. Bing image search gives you a wider choice of creative commons licenses to search by. Google has some of these options, but these were launched some time after Bing launched them. For a while they were exclusively available on Bing.

It looks fresh and quite good when it was launched back in 2009. I use it from time to time but ironically I avoid some Microsoft related products and services (except their Windows OS) like a plague. But to its credit Bing is a good search engine, rated second behind Google.

It's considered the second biggest search engine in the world, and it is the search engine that powers Cortana, the Microsoft Windows 10 assistant.

I use bing webmaster tool for my website, Bing is great for reaching older demographics and home owners.
A lot of people forget about Bing, but its the default search engine for some popular platforms.

In regards to the opening thread, I personally don't use it all that much. Nowadays I probably use it about once or twice per day, but not for search purposes.
Typically I will go to Bing just to see what's new and going on in the world in relation to Pop Culture, News and Current events.

The finest great thing I like it as compare to google. When searching for a video in Bing and try to play the cinematographic clip or movie. They can play the video in its search platform.
As come to google we should firstly be go to the video platform site like YouTube.

This is one month summary of my site traffic:

Google: Over 53000 Seasons.
Bing: only 800.
So there is no competitor currently that can fight with Google.

In India Google has a 90% market share. All other search engines are irrelevant.

You could look at this another way. You got an additional 800 visitors thanks to Bing.

Right said , I don't want to rely only on Google. I also hope that one-day bing will be a big Competitor of Google.

WOW! Can't believe someone still wants to know this...
Doesn't matter if bing is a better search engine. The question is how many people are using it over google?
When I started as a webmaster, 70-80 percent of my site visitors were using IE as their browser. Today things have totally reversed. 70% are using chrome
People aren't even using IE these days, and chrome gives easy access to google search.
And with android getting popular by the day, that share is increasing...
