{Help pls} XP Service Pack 2

Hi guys!

Im wonderin if u can update from a Windows XP Service Pack 1 to a Service Pack 2 to without having to reformat/delete files documents.

Is it like a normal application installation? Do i lose any files?

Updating to service pack 2 from 1 shouldn't really be a problem at all.

Your system should make a full roll-back procedure so that if anything goes wrong, it can rescue itself.

Certain apps may play up like older versions of Nero (CD writing software) and you may need to re-install them.

As long as you have your programs ready to be re-installed, just in case of probs, you'll be fine.

I think you must be thinking of Windows 2000 which is actually on SP4. SP3 for Windows XP has not been released. You can see the current releases here > http://www.microsoft.com/windows/lif...vicepacks.mspx
