RuneScape.com, although I'm sure you've already heard of it.

I have no idea what this is, but it could prove interesting. Or a joke. Not sure.
Looks like a "grope in the dark as you go" type of retro experience.

Ok, now I'll give away my age. ewomack just gave away his. Zork was a better version of Dungeon which was a pure text based adventure that ran (and still does run I think) on Unix mainframes back before PC's and Apples really existed. And yes, I mean Apple not Mac. That's how old this game is.

Kings of Chaos
And if you have ALOT of time on your hands Second Life is loads of fun. Especially if you like 3-d modeling and scripting..

Myth of Soma is/was a really good game. It is a 2D isometric game, but graphics are still decent and gameplay is awesome.
I don't know if the main server is still up, but there are a lot of private servers going about. Just search for MoS private servers in google. I was addicted to this game for 2 years

VOYAGE CENTURY ONLINE
A very detailed game set in the 1700s. There are many things to do and be. You can do anything from become a pirate, to a wealthy merchant sailing the 7 seas in search of profitable trade routes. Also, you have the ability to become a fine craftsman in a number of trades: a blacksmith making fine weapons, a shipbuilder able to carve intricate figurheads, a miner in search of gold, a timber feller, planting expert, alchemist, to name a few. The game is full of detail and it is laid out in a 3-d atmosphere. The sailing is fun, and if you like the thought of sea battle, the ship-battle scenes are alot of fun and very authentic. I have a blast playing this game. The image below is a link to their site. And best of all its completely free.
