Laptop Bags (WARNING: Potentially Girlie)
My computer is in need of some portable protection, so I am looking for a laptop bag. Both my parents and my roommates requested that I let them know what I am investing in so that they might contribute to the cost for my birthday. I'll be selling off parts of my computer, which will hopefully help offset the cost.
Below I found two possible solutions to appease both me and my laptop:
Abbi New York - Darci (Sienna)
COST: ~$82 US (including shipping), delivered from the states. Other online sellers.
STYLE: More casual, colourful, feminine.
PROS: Reasonable cost, great reviews, makes a definite statement.
CONS: No handle, fabric may wear, will I like it two years from now?

Acme Made - Cargo Slim (Peacock)
COST: $259 US (including shipping). Other online sellers.
STYLE: More professional.
PROS: Stylish and unique, excellent quality, classic style.
CONS: Cost, may not be able to purchase for a while.
Is it worth it to save up for that overpriced beautiful quality bag?
Or should I invest in the purple fabric one, and save my cash?
This MakeMyDecisionsForMe message is brought to you in part by Laura Kishimoto.

Isn't it beautiful, Kristee?
Another thing to consider is that will people take me seriously at Grad school if I get the first one? Then again, I'm in music, so that's not as large a concern as it could be.

I assume you got a bag with the laptop so you don't have to lug it around in your hand right now? Because my first thought was how can you wait on a bag? Although I just not big on the stripes. I like the first one.
Oh...and "Potentially girlie"? I think you can say totally.

I would try and find a third one......
But if you don't, I like the second one. Also, you'll have to find some shoes to go with it.

I've probably spent a good couple of hours looking at every notebook bag online and haven't found anything else I particularly like.
That being said, the search goes on.

Agreed. I'm open to suggestions, but immediately skeptical of your confidence on the subject.

Actually, I know some people who have those and love it. Think big city yuppie who only has to travel across flat floors and concrete.
It's all a matter of setting, and you're right - it wouldn't work for me.

Yea, those things are silly. Same will the rolling backpacks, briefcases, etc. People are too lazy these days!!
I can understand rolling suitcases, but this other stuff is just stupid.
