SEATTLE - A 27-year-old man described as one of the world’s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

The interesting thing about this on a personal note is that my spam has decreased by almost 1/3 since this happened.

I read about this, but I did not see any difference in the amount of spam I get. I was really curious if there will be any difference...but nothing...

I barely receive any spam mails, so I wouldn't know about the noticeable decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.
How did they manage to catch him? Did he announce his being the #1 spammer?

I still receive alot of junk mail despite the spammer's arrest. Guess there are many spammers around like pests

I am still getting tons of email spam.

I find no difference.
