Well things have changed for me:

Desktop has 2 HDD: 250gig / 500 gig
Laptop has 1 HDD: 120gig
Server has 3 HDD: 80gig / 130gig / 160gig

So that's 1240gig total.

I'm still waiting for someone to not read the thread and post something totally inappropriate!

My hard drive must be of the smallest capacity. I just have a 40 GB hardisk and I have to say that I have almost filled it up. I'm considering an upgrade and putting it atleast 120 GB of hard drive.

I have a 150gb sata 10,000 RPM Raptor drive...kicks butt. Highly recommend. It's about 100gb full right now. I do backups to my DVD and external drives often. I have about 40gb of music (legit too).

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136012

I also have about 5-6 externals that I fill up.

Wow. Here's a new way to establish the pecking order: hard disk size. But now I can play along without any slight to my manhood since I just upgraded from 170 gigs to 640 gigs.

HOOOOWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! (flexes pecs and grunts... tries not to scratch self)

I have 7 hard drives in my main pc, and 1 external always on

1 x 120gb Western digital Raptor sata2 "it cost me £3.00 can never justify buying a raptor hard drive otherwise"
4 x 320gb western digital sata2 "cost me about £70 each"
2 x 750gb western digital sata 2 "cost me about £120 each"
1 x 80gb western digital ide in external mac mini style hard drive caddy

so my total hard drive space is 2980 gb of hard drive space

almost all of it is full

i shall post a pic of it in a week, for humour value, after my reinstall

I use my pc for video editing, vhs tape backup dvd backup, music backup, photos backup, Photo editing, web design, programming, tech support, software storage, Media centre, games server, ebooks, and i have no less than 60 applications, 24+ utlilties, 15 admin tools, 30 odd video games, emulators etc
