Internet, Ethics, and the Star Wars Kid
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_kid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPPj6viIBmU
His parents sued over the video, and the kid was in counseling.
Which begs the question, was it that big a deal? Sure some people made fun of him. But it's not like they posted a video of him doing something embarrassing. He was a kid being a kid. And Internet uses make fun of anybody. Shoot, some people make fun of me. I don't care. He shouldn't care.

Yup I've already heard about this kid and watched this video. The kid became famous all over the internet and even got some money. He is like an internet celebrity.

What person in their right mind wouldn't want to be laughed at by millions of people? Someone must have seen it from his side though, as he was awarded around CA$350k from a lawsuit last year.
Shame he isn't American. He could've had his own TV show and been a minor D-list celebrity, doing his tired Jedi act at every awards show he could blag his way onto.

The fat kid moves pretty fast for his size.
I was hoping he'd smack himself with that thing, does he go and take 2minute breaks every now and again or i it just me? oh **** this was funny.

If you're open to experimentation, next time you might want to try trashing the joint.

#7 for 'Argus Tattoo' on Google.com - very nice.
Of course, the real sickener for them would be if you ranked #1.
(incidentally, I still maintain that trashing the shop would have been a lot of fun too)

Exactly. It's like the SEO vs. PPC debate: trashing the shop [PPC] is a great short-term strategy until your long-term marketing efforts properly take hold in the Google rankings.
