Ezine advertsing vs classifieds advertising

There a lot of ways to market your services/products.What would be more effective in advertising with a $500 monthly budget.Classifieds ads or ezine ads.Any recommendations,your input appreciated.

Online classifieds or newspaper? And it really depends on what the product/service is. If you were selling software, then a computer ezine would be the way to go. Selling catering, then a newspaper or local online classifieds would be the way to go.

What I am saying, unfortunately, is that there is no one answer. You have to decide what is going to work best for your product/service. If you are willing to disclose what you are offering and wanting to advertise, I'm sure myself and other members will offer their suggestions as to what you should be using.

IMO, online classifieds are way much faster and easier than ezine ads. 'coz Ezines are more strict in reviewing submitted ads in comparison with online classified ads. In terms of efficiency, both are just the same but i consider ezines as a reliable one than the other..

I'm offering business software and info products for entrepreneurs.I would say the ezine and classifieds is more cost effective.Thanks folks for the input.

Its way better to spend that budget on having someone write blog posts ($1-5 each)for your business and then pay a submitter to bookmark at all the major bookmarking sites (Ive seen cheap as $3 for posting to 30 of them). I believe $500 spent on that would yield much, much more traffic.

Classified ads is more effective in promoting your site than ezine ads that required a quality article and content . It takes a weeks or days before you see your article online.

Based on the feedback so far it seems that Classifieds are better than ezines. Any good recommendations for choosing classified sites, things to do and not to do, any specific sites to check out for classifieds or information on running classifieds? I presume you are talking about online classifieds and not PPC - maybe something like craigslist?
