I vote for another Mozilla product: Seamonkey.
I like it better than Firefox. At the moment, it is slightly outdated, but in a couple of weeks, a new version, based on the latest gecko engine will be released.

Mystery to me
OK, this is a long thread, but i didn't see my problem. When I download the newest version, it works for a bit, and then it stops downloading. Files download, and disappear. Seriously disappear from the computer. Nada So for the seconc time I have had to go back to the previous version which still works ok, but is a little scary.

Yeah I think so. Mozilla offers better speed and better protection (from malwares/malicious watres) to Internet users while browsing the net.

Firefox is more secure and has had less vulnerabilities found over time than IE. IE is the big one that malicious web sites like to exploit.

Firefox also has the nice feature of clearing all private data whenever you close the browser. Tracking cookies and other malicious code from web sites can try to track down and harvest your browsing habits.

I prefer Firefox because it runs much faster the IE. Also say you like playing games online. IF you check out the same games site or video sites (like you tube) in IE and FireFox you will see that FireFox is much faster.

I've been using IE for a long time and I also love firefox. There are a lot of plug-ins in firefox which helps me do my work faster.
