I want to hide my IP.. is that possible?
I want to hide my IP address and want to login somewhere on internet. Is this possible?
I have heard hiding IPs is possible by using some proxy website, but they are not secure so I can't enter my login info there. Any other way you know?

For hiding ip address anonymous proxy server is answer. Because you are connected in way
Your ISP --> Proxy Server --> Destination
if someone take a look into ip address they will see ip address from proxy and not your own.

I tried Tor a while ago but it slowed down my computer to an absolute crawl. I got rid of it.

TOR and JAP are free program and they are widely used. Because of that very oft they are slow.
You can always chose to test list of proxy server and then find working one and use it or buy some commercial software.
For example GhostSurf works just fine and it is very fast because they use own servers that are set up as proxy and available for their customers.

If you want to hide your IP, There are many ways to do it. one is the proxy site, but i don't recommend that one because those kind of sites usually have a lot of spy-ware. The second is the Ip hider software which is best if you want to surf the internet anonymously. Just search the net for it, I think it goes by the name Ip Hider something like that.

The new google chrome browser has a 'invisible mode'.
But do remember that it is impossible to by anonymous on the internet.
So even if you use a proxy, there is always a backtrace to your IP.

Hide IP Address
The most effective way to hide your ip address is to use a proxy server. It is a software where different you are IP Addresses for each of the servers These IP addresses will rotate every 30 minutes for each server or you can disconnect from one server and select another server to manually change the IP address
