Great question and great for debate!
Recently I have been doing a ton of research on several different search engines,
Google,
Yahoo,
AOL,
MSN, etc ...
While Google is my favorite, I still yearn for something better, something that really fits my searches. I don't want to see a site listing simply because they have more money than God. I want to see relevant results based on my search trends.
I checked out the "latest and greatest" search engine
Cuil and I am saddened to report that this search engine, IMHO, is absolutely worthless.
I guess if you are looking for, what seems to be, "aged" results, then low and behold, you've found it here.
I'm still waiting on the "best" search engine to emerge. I do however have my hopes up for Microsoft's BrowseRank ... So much so, that I wrote an article about [link removed]BrowseRank on my [link removed]flash seo site. Let me know what you think.
I really hope that this becomes a new standard for search engines, and although I DO NOT condone Microsoft's tactics and buggy software releases, I have a strong hope that we as site owners, developers, visitors and all other things, can recapture the web from Google's icy grip.
