Ubuntu is pretty good because it's easy to install new apps. I also like SUSE for the same reason. My problem is that I prefer KDE, which means I really should be using Kbuntu, but last time I bothered with it, it was a little bit outdated.

Did you hear that Best Buy has been selling Ubuntu for the past month? They didn't announce it. Some people just noticed it was an option there and spread the word. I have to admit, I think it's very nice that a Linux OS is getting corporate support. It makes it more viable against Windows.

I worked with ubuntu for about a year and half and enjoyed it a lot , and it was 2 years ago so it should be even better now with the compiz option :p
