Recently some Archaeologists in Russia made a discovery. While they
were digging in a archaeological dig that dates back to 5000 years,
they found some copper wires. They studied these and announce very
proudly to the world that 5000 years ago Russia has a very advanced
society that used telephones.
Americans are pissed off. They go and dig in the soil layers that
dates back to 10000 years and discover some elongated glassy material.
So they make the announcement that 10000 years ago, America had
society that used fibre optics technology.
Not to be undone, the Sri Lankan president directs his archaeologists
to start digging. They dig down to the soil layer that represents
25000 years and find absolutely nothing. The next day the president
very proudly announces that 25000 years ago, Sri Lanka had a very
advanced society that used wireless networks.
