CD-Ruined..

Hi, I have an old game, (command & conquer Generals)
and well i've just installed it today. But I noticed that both my second disk and first disk were badly scratched.. I was amazed that it even installed..

I want to know if there is anyway of getting the game from online. just disc 1.
(I'm not asking for a crack, ware, nocd.exe, etc.)
I just want to know if it's possible to get the contents of the disc 1. So i can burn it onto a cd and than play.

I'm not sure if it's possible. Is it? (is it illegal?)

I believe most software manufacturers will replace the CD's for you provided you can prove that you have purchased it. (Some will take the original CD as proof enough)

If there is a support phone number in the manual, give them a shout. I had my StarCraft CD replaced once. I only had to pay for shipping.

Worth a shot...

But I also, bought novus plastic polish, it's like a CD-scratch remover..
plus plastic scratch remover.

If that doesn't work, I'll try your way =]
