Computer hang: What you'll do? - Page 3

If PC keeps hanging, i try to check what was the last action did to cause this problem.
If any software causing the system hang, will remove it or any hardware will diagonise.

I prefer ctrl + alt + delete then end task for my PC today. This is much safer than the other choices.

On a hang I'll always Ctrl + Alt + Del and see whats going on in the Task Manager. Its quite often that I have multiple apps going so its nice to see how my computer is handling it anyway.

If I can't bring up the task manager then I'll try reset, if that doesn't work I'll cut the power at the power supply and let my computer sit for a few minutes. When I bring my rig back up I try to mimic the issue and run Tat as well as Riva Tuner and a few others just to make sure I don't have a hardware related issue.
