This is one I know in Win XP OS:

- Whenever I reformat my PC I sometimes cannot access my former files and
folders because of passwords and privacy policy.

- Then I discover that you can transfer the ownership of the folders
through the security tab of your folder properties.

- You can activate your security tab through configuring it at menu
bar->tools->folder options.

i have xp pro but i never format it, but
that's a good tips and i write it to may be in futur i have to use it
