Question about search results

Hi,

Not sure whether to post this here, or send an email query, so I'm doing both :-)

My question is about search results on Bluefind. I recently got added to the directory, but am not coming up on relevant searches - eg "Sex Toy Parties" which is in our description and key words does not give our site as a result.

So I'm wondering how the search results are ranked/presented.

Thanks!

Brad

I did add the keywords, and they appeared in the description. I should have mentioned the site is http://www.lovelifebetter.com

Very odd, as when you search on sex toy parties you get sites that don't have that term in their desc....

Brad

Thanks for the welcome btw!

Well - now it appeared. Go figure.

I'm still curious about how they get ranked though, as I am on page 2 of 4. Not that that's bad, but who DOESN"T want to be on page 1? :-)

The keywords are best repeated in the description and in the keywords field.

Then could I ask you to update my description to the following

"Fun, fresh and exciting sex toys, toys for couples and lingerie from this woman-owned and run sex toys store and sex toy parties business. Declare freedom from shame and make sex more fun!"

It changes "sex toy store and sex toy party business" to "sex toys store and sex toy parties business"

Makes more sense anyway.

Thanks a lot! This directory and forum are great!

Also, would it help to add my site to another category, perhaps the subcategory "Sex Toys and Adult Products"?

I assume I could do that by paying another $40, is that correct?
