Bluefind showing as backlinks

I have read in posts on other forums people asking if Bluefind links are showing as backlinks... not sure if it's been asked here?

The answer is Yes.

I have noticed them this google backlinks update... of course that doesn't mean every listing will show, as unpredictable as google is - but to put that matter to rest I have seen backlinks showing to bluefind.

Don't ask me - I didn't ask the stupid question,

I'm just posting the flaming obvious.

But the question has been asked a number of times.

Actually, Bluefind is only one of a few high PR backlinks which show for my site in Google. I have no idea why my other high PR backlinks aren't showing (even after this very recent backlink update)

I get more back links from http://www.v7n.com/forums (about 20 or so)and none from Bluefind...in Google, nor any traffic from Bluefind -0- and it's a paid inclusion, hoping things will change soon.

As for the backlink, it will most likely show up in the next update. As for the traffic, I might recommend using more keywords in the keywords field.

http://www.google.com/search?q=link:...&start=20&sa=N

its not whether or not they show that matters, but whether or not they count

Odd. Most of the sites I've checked that have been in BlueFind long enough to have BlueFind listed as a backlink do indeed show BlueFind as a backlink when you use the "link:" command in Google.

You might be looking at newly listed sites if you're not seeing BlueFind listed as a backlink.

Bluefind links show as back links, yes. But - how much traffic do you get from here? Does someone get any significant amount from Bluefind guys?

:-)
Thanks all!

hi counter
welcome to the forums

it depends on what site and theme you own. I remember Webmaster Toolkit saying he gets good traffic from BlueFind. I think I likely get about the same as I do from DMOZ for my SEO Book site. I do not always keep real close track though

I guess this totally depends on the popularity of the subject of a site.

Thanks all!

I really doubt that most people submit for the traffic. The main reason people submit to directories is for the link popularity.

But, yes, some people do get quite a bit of traffic from BlueFind. There are currently 8 times as more searches per day than they are sites listed.

Bluefind is a great source for backlinks, but you need to make sure you are going to be on the first search page. Put some thought into it.

I've got backlinks showing from BlueFind, and I do get some traffic from Bluefind as well... I actually get more traffic from Bluefind than I do Yahoo.
