sponsored listing - expire

Hello,

I read that sponsored listings will expire after 90 days.
Does it mean the website will disappear from the bluefind directory, or that it will still be listing as a normal listing?
Thank you,

David

Bluefind doesn't do a very good job with it's sponsored links. Sponsored links aren't worth the money, your better off going with the standard link, you'll most likely be put where the sponsored link goes anyway, but you won't expire.

But I might add it's not worth it if your just looking for PR rating.
For traffic, I couldn't tell ya. I don't think many users use Bluefind for searching products. That's only my opinion. I could be wrong

I notice you're on somewhat of a BlueFind_bashing bonanza. Any particular reason why?

What would you do if I charged you for a listing for $ 100.00 then added you to a category where I said I would only be accepting sponsored listings in that category and then add many upon many sites that only paid 40 or 50 dollars and list them in the same category (which I might add the 50 dollar listings won't expire)
You make the rules then you don't go by em and ask why I'm on a bashing trip. The funny part is that I mentioned once and you fixed it...a few days later you filled the category up again...I'd say you provoke it. Hell I paid to get into your directory, I'm not bashing the directory, I'm bashing the way things are ran. (I might add poorly in some respects...well as far as my case is concerned)
Why does a regular listing gets the same placement as a sponsored listing (in the higher categories) and the sponsored listing only last 90 days but cost twice as much?
Sorry I don't get it. How can you keep happy customers like that?

added:
In this topic I was just giving good information to dGriff about sponsored listing compared to normal listings. If I have a misconception of this program...please inform me, hell I might even learn something.

sundancerz,

First, Sponsored listings are only supposed to last 90 days. But you don't see them getting delisted do you?

We are not allowing any non-sponsored listings to stay there long term. We have just been approving them as they come in, and moving down to the proper category as time allows.

I'm sorry you feel cheated. If you'd like a refund, let me know.

No I really didn't notice how long they have been up. That brings be to another question. If your site says there going to be up for 90 days...Then they should be up for 90 days...period.
You say one thing and do something else...IMO that's not a good business practice.

Look at it this way.
If I say I'm going to sell you a phone for $ 20.00 ( but for $20.00 you get the cords and labels) Now the same phone can be purchased for $ 10.00 (but you don't get a cord or a label) and then I sell everyone else the same phone for $10.00 and include the cords and labels (and bluntly stick it in your face so you can see it) I have a feeling your going to say WTF over.
It just isn't right...period
I hope you can understand my point.
