What about spanish websites?

I have websites in spanish, does the submit lenguage should be in english or spanish.

I know it sounds dumb but it would be like anchor text useless if I submit in english and my site is in spanish and If I submit in spanish and the directory is in english nobody will visit my site.

Can somebody give me a hint here...

the principles are identical, but all language should be in spanish (metas, headings, body text, text links, etc.).

and IBLs from spanish directories, websites, etc.

don't forget the language metatag to help the SEs identify non-english pages/sites:
