I need to declare firstly that being a MOd in V7N Forum, i recieved a significant reduction on the price of a listing.

I recently listed two sites in the directory, one a long established site and one a quite new site. What i can report is that within hours of it being listed, the new site was showing numerous backlinks from my signature.

I can also report that Google crawled the site very fast, indexed almost every page within 48 hours and the site is progressing up the serps very well, albeit im only targeting Australia.

Now wether this is due to V7N Listing i cant swear, but my personal gut feeling is that this is why. I listed the new site in 3 other Australian Directories but have done virtually no other promotion.

So compared to the waiting time on some directories and the extravagent cost of others, i feel the listing is very well priced and very effective.

The price has been set at a discounted rate so that all members of the community get to enjoy the savings. All members are equally important and negotiating discounts with individuals is not an option, so Management decided to provide the reduced cost to all members.

Moderators get a discount because of the hundreds of hours of Mod Duites that they undertake and the time that they spend assisting the community.

Compared to many of the other directories, i personally reckon V7 is a bargain. It helped my site get indexed fast and certainly shows in awstats as being a strong link.
