here is what i observed in my experience as directory owner:

1. 98% of submitters dont want or dont know to write nice title and description. They put crappy text and stuff keyords. Believe it 98 out of 100. Even submitters from SEO companies do such thing.

2. Submitters turn blind to read submission guidelines and they rush in to submit their submission as long as it is free. of course they dont want to pay.

3. One of the most frustrating thing is they select paid submission or sponsored ad and they dont want to pay at the end.
