Discounted bluefind listings for loyalty...
LOL guess what this posts about
John just a small suggestion that will most certainly help get the ball rolling a little quicker with BlueF' (not that its not already fast)...
Why dont you offer discounted submission to loyal members of this forum, not neccesarily the moment someone joins but to people that have posted more than 'X' amounts of times this is also an insentive to boost new registrations on IMR, and will ofcourse most importantly help the directory.
the chosen amount to discount is of course your decision,
max.

 thanks John,
Maybe you should give discount actually based on the amounts of post.
for example 10 posts 10 percent discount
25 posts 25 percent discount

I'd say, members with 100 posts or more get a 50% discount. But I'll have to think that over.

Imagine the PITA that would be to look at every submission and reference back to this forum - make sure that person has x posts then go back and approve the submission. Even worse - then you would have to back into Paypal and refund the money. Or do some up front programming of the add url form to have an input type for forum username that then pulls information from the forum and puts a post count to Paypal that corresponds with a discount percentage.
Just my thoughts though.

100 posts seems too little to discount 50% off of. I think it should be more like 1000 posts.

You could set up a topic in this Bluefind forum for members of the forum wanting to submit to Bluefind. Then you can see exactly how many posts they have and what site they submitted.

Although it's an idea.. it kind of defeats the purpose of having a script where you hit Approved. Login to bluefind - look to see who has submitted... back to IMR - login - go to the "official bluefind I want it for less topic" - scroll down to find the post where the "one who wants it for less" posted - check post count. Go back to Bluefind - hit approved.
You think that the editors have all the time in the world or something.
I'm not saying there isn't a way to do it - just trying to be the voice of reason.

Ah that way would work if you had to enter the username and password. That way you cant just enter JohnScott or somethin :-p
You could write some code to make it so that it only accepts the username and password if that person has a certain amount of posts.

I would submit my site if there was a discount.
But where would my site go? (sig)
