Holy cow, my new thread was deleted within 2 minutes!
This is in no way a rant or flame, I actually see that efficiency as a great thing. All too many forums are trashed by having inactive mods. The deletion of my thread was 100% my fault and fully expected. I was posting a site design for review after having scouted out a number of forums in which to do this. I made the mistake of thinking I was posting to a different forum therefore broke ALL the rules -- No "Review" prefix, omitted the full link path and on top of that hadn't previously offered reviews for 3 other sites. Funny thing is I noticed it almost immediately after submitting the post so headed directly into edit mode to apologize and lay my head on the block only to find the thread was already locked and being chucked out with the baby and bath water.
Again, I apologize to the thread mod and users/visitors.
I do have one observation. As I'm not qualified in the least to offer up any truly worthwhile critique of websites beyond a very generic view the requirement of having to review 3 sites prior to posting to the "Website Review" forum seems a bit odd from my perspective. I could see how someone either in the business of website design or an enthusiast could be helpful with constructive criticism but I would simply have a feeling of being in-genuine or inadequate with my offering. I may give it a shot though and then see if I can't slip through a properly formatted site review request.
Keep up the great work of forum housekeeping!
