Nothing like a question to answer a question.

While we are at it I'd like to know when the RSS feed issues are going to be resolved....Carp error messages and other coding errors. I spoke to Snake months ago about it and yet the issue still lingers.

I would have thought a V7N Mentor would already know the answer to that question!

Not when the title is arbitrarily bestowed through rep.

The moderators decide who gets mentor status, not the rep system.

Ah okay, I presumed wrongly.

Can you answer this then.... "... I'd like to know when the RSS feed issues are going to be resolved....Carp error messages and other coding errors. I spoke to Snake months ago about it and yet the issue still lingers."

It's a fair question, and I have asked a Super mod and now the Admin.

The tech dept. has been asked to fix this.

Sometimes there is a Carp error and then it goes away on it's own.

Its been constant for me and others for 2 weeks now, prior to that I had been lucky and just had to remove my feed then add it again for it to work.

No luck now.

Thanks for the answer anyway.

Maybe this has something to do with it not being read properly here?

This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

line 1, column 26504: Missing atom:link with rel="self"

It was being read here perfectly, in fact a long while after Snake dropped his and others did too. It also works fine in many other places?

If It were just me then I would have to agree.

I will look into it further at some point.

Thanks again.

I use this service called fetchrss.com. The only time I saw my feed go down was yesterday, for only a brief while & that's because the fetchrss site was down. Maybe you could give it a try.

Hi Vaguar...thanks, i will give it a go.

Snake and many others have the same problem. He told me they've (V7N) known about the coding issue for ages.
