Why is the moderation so poor on this forum?

I gave rep to the the guy who started this thread and thanked him for his post.

http://www.v7n.com/forums/tech-suppo...-sd-cards.html

I posted "Nice info, thanks".

My comment has been removed??? If somebody thinks I post for links then they are a fool and not worthy to be a mod. Get a bloody life and understand that sometimes it's absolutely fine to just say thanks for posting info that somebody finds useful.

What sort of pathetic moderation is actually taking place on this forum? I post quality posts day in day out, if i didn't my rep wouldn't be so high.
I've added guides that have taken hours to write and yet somebody deems my post worthy of deletion?

If moderation is to take place then the person doing it should state why in a PM.

I am sick of the pathetic way people remove perfectly good or apt posts where a load of crap litters this forum.

I removed that post, as thank you posts in most cases are concidered low quality posting. We want members to use the rep system instead.

Here is a thread with some more informations:
Saying Thank You For A V7N Thread Or Post

But it WAS nice info and I did rep him too...???

Absolute rubbish....the site is full of useless threads with mostly guesswork and I post an innocent thanks for, probably, the first time since I've been here and its just removed.

Next time, just follow the guidings in the thread i linked to in my previous reply in this thread, after all that is the rules i'm here to inforce.

We like to remove low quality replies, so it's easier for users to find quality informations without having to go throu a lot of low quality posts like thank you posts that adds nothing useful to a thread.

We are all volunteers on this forum. Perhaps you (and anyone reading this) could help us out by reporting low quality posts (just once is fine if they are on a run, we can look into all their recent posts).

Another approach would be that you nicely debate the information provided that you do not agree with with backup information to prove your point. The readers can then decide for themselves which information they wish to believe and which is just parroting some myth.

The quality of the content on this forum will only improve if the members have healthy fact based discussions. Just stating someone is wrong is not helpful to the readers or the person the comment is directed to.
