A couple of noob design questions

I've made a lot of progress over the last couple of days with designing my first site. Ive found out how to design it in photoshop, how to slice out the images, and how to make simple edits in Dreamweaver. I am however, so far having the following problems:

1. How do you input banner code into the site? I am deleting the slice where I want it to go (the slice is the same size as the banner is supposed to be) and inputting the code but it doesn't show the banner but just the code in the preview.

2. How do you make a number of different banners rotate? For example there are 3 banners that I want to use, with one appearing on the visitor's screen, but if they hit refresh I would like one of the others to appear in it's place.

It's not very well explained but I hope it's makes sense!

3. When I preview the page in explorer it is how it should be but in firefox there are pixelated areas, mainly around the slices.

Thanks for your help!

Yeah, it's an affiliate program. Through trial and error I've sorted that problem out now. I'm still having problems with Firefox. The divs I have created over sliced images are are arranged below where they should be, while in Internet Explorer they are fine. Any suggestions?

No, I was just going to use Dreamweaver to upload. Is there a better way?

you will need to learn some HTML first to edit the codes and to put new things or images in your site. as for the banner rotation you can do it with simple javascript codes that you can find for free on internet.

as for problems with firefox, it is probably due to incorrect use of the image file called spacer.gif that photoshop generates. try not to use that. again i strongly recommend learning some HTML for web design
