Reporting Functionality on Website

I am developing a new informational website with Dreamweaver and I would really like to have some sort of backend reporting functionality, which would display the number of page views, unique visitors etc for the website. How would I go about doing this? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, David.

Get your Web Hosting to give you access to your server logs and you can use software such as Webtrends and Weblyzer to parse out your logs and graphically interprit them. T
There are also free scripts out there to use in both asp and php that can do this reporting by adding code to each page you want tracked.

The best traffic report that I've found is called "awstats" it works with cpanel and its free, so you could request of your host to install it.
