Is web design/develpment your main source of income?

Just wondering how many people here design or develop sites for a living.
For me, it's just a hobby a make a few bucks from. When I first started to learn HTML I had big plans. Me and the wife actually put up a couple of sites and I did an odd-job or two over the years but it just never panned out. Partly because of my full-time job, partly because I realized I suck at design.
I still enjoy doing it though.

So who here actually does web design professionally?

Hi. I do. Though I've only dabbled in design for the past year or so, I've been doing development (working with a designer) for 11 years.

Your Saints site doesn't look too bad. Don't be so hard on yourself!!

Well thank you Matt.
I started that site over 10 years ago in my effort to teach myself web design. (wasn't very many Saints site back then!) Needless to say it has undergone several changes.
I've tried to keep the layout plain and graphics simple.
I do think I've gotten better but looking at some of these other sites I admit I have a long way to go.

It's my hobby too. But I doesn't have any time for it. I work as QA.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and you learn by your mistakes. I always think for every bad design that I may try, I learn from it and the next one will be better. I am not a professional designer, but I do design most of my sites rather than pay for it to be done

I'm working in a web firm with bunch of Designers and Programmers by my side...so that means it's my main source of income
