Encyclopedias

Anyone know how encyclopedia layouts should be? Full width pages? Or the centered box pages like the v7inc homepage. Just wondering, thanks.

Black bacckground or white for encyclopeida of this type?

Full width website, or centered box like most hosting company sites?

Anything else you guys got to add for some tips?

I think they should be centered boxes, b/c with higher resolution screen settings it gets really hard to read super long lines of text.

Thanks Thanol, but don't you think with a centered box you would be wasting some space? You can always increase your font size if your page is using CSS.

I say a centered box definitely. You don't want text stretching all the way across the page. Gets difficult to read.

For text: Black text on a white background.
