Other Information:
I started my own web design and development firm in 1998 with my partner. I specialize in graphic design for print and web. My partner specializes in custom programming and technical solutions. Started out with basic html on notepad and currently use dreamweaver as html editor to cut down on time constraints and increase project managability. I have also worked for an advertising agency and commercial printer, respectively, to increase technical experience in designing corporate collateral and misc print projects. Projects include corporate websites for a national non-for-profit organization, local chamber of commerce, local retirement facility and a handful of corprate identity packages.

This thread finally inspired me to register for the board. :-) It probably wouldn't have been long anyway... top place!
- Languages[list:c30fbb1a52]Advanced HTML
Advanced CSS
Moderate MySQL
Moderate PHP
Basic Javascript
Moderate-Advanced Java
Programs - Basic - Moderate Photoshop
Advanced Dreamweaver
Advanced Director + Lingo
Marketing Other Information - Completed a 3 year uni degree revolving around interaction design, usability, etc.
Currently studying a 2nd degree in Multimedia (and finding it useless so far..)
Looking to start a small web-design business in my non-existant spare time
I've done some basic (read: crap) sites in highschool.. "Hi, my name is X, and I'm ..."
Completed uni degree required MANY websites to be made to demonstrate most projects - I've learnt to love webdesign, and have gotten reasonably good (IMHO )
I use Dreamweaver MX for most things, but end up using it more for the code editor than the WYSIWYG aspect.
- Of course, I'm still learning. I realise I need SEO and marketing knowledge if I hope to be a succesful web designer, and am working on that.
I'm also weak in the graphics area - I'm not terribly creative. I can do some nice work in photoshop, but its hard to pick something to work towards
I've realised how awesome terragen is for making some nice backgrounds etc, and am also learning that.
[/list:u:c30fbb1a52]
I'll echo Greencat in wondering what the purpose of this is? To get a better idea of what tools/experience others might use?

Too much to say.
Languages: C,C++,VB 4, VB 6 with access, VB .NET, PHP with MySQL, Perl (but that language is dead), anyone remembers ML? Pretty much you name it I know it. Basically got my Computer Science degree with 3.9/4.0 GPA and getting my doctorate in Univ of Illinois at Chicago. So it is my responsibility to know everything there is to know. The number one reason for not being employed is overqualification. Sometimes I even have to cut my work experience and lower a GPA to get on a project and recently keep forget to mention my PhD candidacy.
From the list:
Advanced HTML, there is really not that much to this language
Basic-to-moderate PHP, spent a year of hardcore programming with PHP and MySQL building frameworks for 600+ directories sites, portal design/development etc.
Used alot of Flash, back in 99 and 2000 but nowadays that stuff is not needed much since I am doing alot of E-Commerce sites, and SEO and Flash just do not work together.
Dreamweaver helps with CSS alot.
Advanced Photoshop, yeah been using this thing for many years now.
Moderate Imageready (well imageready/ photoshop) is basically a same thing.
Regarding SEO, read everything there is to read. Done everything there is to be done.
One thing I am looking to pick up in the future is probably a language called Python, I am not sure why it is any good but many companies ask for it as a requirement. Anyone got any idea if Python is any better than PHP?
Thanks
