Do you ever find it tiring?

I know i have these phases where i am working on a project and i spend loads of time designing and coding the website. after the burst of enthusiasm i get tired of designing and have no enthusiasm to carry on into a new project - even if its small. after a few months i gain interest and start a new project and the cycle starts again. i have been creating websites for over 4 years and maybe this is a reason. maybe its just laziness.

Same with me, the design is my fave. Coding HTML can get boring, trying to perfect it all. I like making cool site features in PHP though.

Well the thing is with coding HTML, its sorta like writing a book, and I hate writing, so I hate coding It's boring coding cause you dont actually see anything, just letters carrots and numbers really, o an d equal signs and quotation marks.

I get tired of designing sometimes too, like I just wanna stop. But that doesn't happen too often, especially like I have an idea...

I'm opposite. I can type code for days at a time and love every minute of it. It's the design part that makes me want to stab my eyes with a rusty fork.

I dont much client work anymore for this reason, making a cookie cutter layout for the fifteenth consecutive webhosting site gets old. Its much easier to keep motivated if i am doing something for my own projects.

I like both coding and designing; I'm not crazy about promotion of the website(like exchange, etc.) That, to me, is boring.

I like coding and designing, but whenever I do either I get too little sleep which makes me lazy.

I find it good to take breaks, not just code, do other things such as play guitar or video games or something that involves *shudders* going outdoors. Don't forget that coding and designing are just parts of owning a website, and that you should take breaks from doing that to also work on other things like content development, competition research, etc.

Keep goals firm in your mind, and make sure they're goals you really actually WANT to reach.

This is weird cos I have been designing for 3 years and I do get board of it in the last few months - However I am actually liking programming in ASP but after 3 years of that I may get board too.
