DW8 - cannot retain server login info

I am using DW8 but everytime I launch and try and connect to my web server, I get the message that my login info is "incorrect" (Site Manager->Advanced Tab->Remote Information) i.e. not present. I populate the username & password fields then all is well.

How can i make DW8 keep this info instead of having to input it everytime?

many thanks

1. Did you tell it to remember the information?
Quote:
Dreamweaver saves your password by default. Deselect the Save checkbox if you prefer that Dreamweaver prompt you for a password each time you connect to the remote server.
Reference: Setting Remote Info options for FTP access in Help

2. It's not a good idea for your FTP to remember your password. Anyone that uses/steals your computer can access your web hosting and do damage.

Wink login info

Thanks again, dude!
1. yes, I keep checking the "save" box on this tab.
2. I agree about security, but I'm prepared to take that risk, which i consider to be very low.
