How Can I Promote A Product As One Of My Own?
Hi. I'm building a website that promotes a single product. The product being promoted is owned by another company who has an affiliate program. I am promoting the product by offering an idea along with the product, instead of the actual product itself: Meaning, I will be offering an idea that can be used with the product. (I use mindmovie.com as a reference.)
When promoting the product, the customers will pay my company first, in my website, instead of taking the customer away from my site to the product's affiliate website.
What is this called? What can I do about setting this up? After the customers pay, will they be given a link where they can download the product, or something? How will the product's company know when one is sold and how do they get their money? Again, I'm new to this and anything will help. Thank you.
