How can I insert a menu in text form into an external .css file
I was wondering how I could insert a text/css style menu into an external cascading style sheet and what the code would be, so the menu would appear in a pre-determined position on each page, thanks

You can't. CSS is a style sheet that will only allow you to define colors and styles to fonts, tables and such elements.

You can create an external JavaScript Menu and have CSS define the colors and styles. Or create a HTML include file that is also defined by CSS.
