Is there a best page layout for google to crawl and find your keywords... Also does <html> inside your <h1> tag mess googles relevance up?

wait you put <html> inside your header tag ? like this:
<h1><html></html></h1> or do you mean using depreacted tribute of the <h1> tag (i.e attribute: height="" width="" )

This is fine the way you have it.

As far as the layout of your page for google to crawl. Some say its best to put your main content with your keywords at the beginning of the page or as close to the beginning as possible.
