Question about Dreamweaver...

I just got Dreamweaver recently and I'm trying it out now, but it is so complicated! My god!! Anyway, I was wondering if someone might know this: how do you layer text on top of a graphic? It seems like it should be obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out. I made a box with Fireworks, now I want to layer text over the top of it but I can't figure out how to do it with Dreamweaver. Thanks!!

ok check it out....at the top of the window right below the dropdown menus (file, edit, etc) theres a bar that shows stuff you can insert into the document. all the way at the left of it theres a pulldown arrow, switch it to "layout".

now you should see 3 little boxes, third one from the left is the layer button. click that, then in the document click and drag to draw a box. You can resize the box and put text or images in it, and you can move it anywhere on the page. so all you have to do is move it over your fireworks graphic and put the text in it.
